When a product page indicates "引き取り" (Hikitori), "引取", or "引き渡し" (Hikiwatashi), it means the item may be restricted to in-person pickup only by the seller. Please first confirm with the seller via the product page's "Q&A" whether pickup is the only option.
Because pickup fees are relatively expensive — often several times the item price — we recommend not purchasing such items. If you are determined to buy, please note that high local Japan shipping costs will be charged.
2. Local Logistics Companies in Japan
When the seller replies that a logistics company can be sent to their designated address for pickup, please first notify us via "Customer Message」". A Letao representative will contact the relevant logistics company to confirm the local Japan shipping cost. Once confirmed, you will be notified via "Customer Message".
In general, sellers of pickup-only items do not pack or ship in cardboard boxes. The logistics company's quote covers only the shipping cost and does not include packaging fees. If reinforced packaging is required, please notify us via "Customer Message」" — our staff will inquire about packaging fees from the logistics company.
