1. Delivery to designated address in Japan
Some members have reported that when sending products directly from the product location (seller) to a third-party delivery address (such as a friend's home, restaurant, etc.) at Letao Japan, the products were damaged or lost. In this case, it is difficult to determine the cause of the accident, and Letao is not the recipient or sender, so we cannot assist members in seeking compensation or handling claims.。
In order to protect the rights and interests of Letao members，Letao does not accept direct shipment requests from sellers to addresses other than Letao Japan shipping addresses.。If you need to forward to a third-party address, please send it to Letao Japan first, and then the Japanese delivery office will use the Japan Post delivery method. (Fee Inquiry) Assist you to forward the product to your designated location (in this case, two local Japanese shipping fees will be incurred, both of which must be borne by the member)。
2. Frequently asked questions
1. If your product is lost or damaged, we can only provide the shipping information of the package. You need to hand it over to the recipient of your choice for follow-up processing.。
2. If your product has time-sensitive issues (such as concert tickets) or you will not stay long at the delivery location (such as a hotel), the seller's delivery time and the local traffic conditions in Japan are beyond the control of our company. Please confirm with Letao staff whether there is a time difference before placing an order or ordering, so as to avoid the regret of not receiving the product in time.。
3. If you suffer any loss due to the delay in forwarding, Letao cannot bear any liability for compensation. Please consider again whether you need to use Letao Japan to Japan service。
Precautions：
1. Shipping time: After "notifying the consolidation", the receiving staff will help you complete the packaging within 48 hours (except during Japanese holidays) and send you a "second payment" notice.。
2. Shipping method: All Japanese logistics companies use "Japan Post Home Delivery". We are unable to provide other logistics companies for delivery. Large items are shipped by "Sagawa"。
3. Relevant regulations: The Japanese delivery office cannot provide on-site pickup, nor does it provide airport delivery services.。
4. Risk issues: Since the goods are sent directly to the designated location, there are time-sensitive issues and it may cause difficulties in processing. Please consider this risk again and again。
3. Regulations on shipments from Japan
1. After "notification of consolidation", due to operational reasons，The package cannot be repacked or bundled with other products.。 (If the product size is larger than the maximum size of the post office box, it needs to be shipped by air or from Japan to Japan。)
2. If the product cannot be placed in the container at any angle or one side exceeds the container, we will not be able to pack it for you and add extra space outside the container to cover the extra size.。
3. We cannot assist in shipping to different addresses in the same shipping order. Please select the goods to be shipped to the same address when "Notify Consolidation" (the same order cannot be separated into "Notify Consolidation"」)。
4. Due to operational reasons, the shipping address and delivery method cannot be changed after completing the "Second Payment"。
4. Japanese packaging methods and costs
1. The product needs to be packed in an outer box. The receiving office will select the appropriate carton for you, and a consolidation fee will be incurred.。
2. Free unpacking service is available at the receiving area. Members who use the unpacking service will be deemed to have understood and agreed to the service by ticking the box.：
A. Our company will follow the member's instructions, remove the original outer box and use the Japan Post Office's specified carton to send the items.。
B. If the quantity of items in the original outer box matches the quantity in the transaction details, the box can be packed and sealed. Members understand and agree that the company is not responsible for inspecting the items. Members cannot request compensation unless they can prove that the company has maliciously damaged the items.。
3. The weight of the outer box and the weight of the packaging materials will increase after the product is packed. Please check the estimated weight of the outer box in advance (see the table below)。
4. Cut the outer box to a suitable size and use newspapers or other fillers inside to prevent the product from shaking.。
5. When the goods are severely shaken in the box and there is a chance that the goods will be damaged, the handling staff will use newspapers to fix the goods firmly.。
6. Japan Post will charge a customs clearance fee of 2,800 yen for each package with a total value of more than 200,000 yen.。
5. Overseas warehousing regulations
1. For products that have not been shipped after the second payment for more than 30 days (including holidays), a daily fee of 100 yen will be charged for each product.。
2. If the "second payment" is not completed within 30 days after the product arrives at the receiving place, Letao will regard it as the member giving up the ownership and custody responsibility of the product, that is, Letao has the right to abandon the product and require the payment of the product to be settled. Members shall not have any objection in the future. Due to the limited space at the collection office in Japan, members are requested to cooperate.。
