Rules for Overseas Shipment
For a single item, we will ship directly using the original packaging — therefore no extra packaging or outer-box fees apply. If Japan determines that cushioning is required, packing will add a small amount of weight. Unless any of the following conditions apply, Japan will add an additional outer box, incurring carton and packing fees: a. Items valued at 50,000 JPY or more b. Items with safety concerns (incomplete packaging, bagged, naked, fragile, etc. ※ Subject to actual on-site judgment in Japan) c. Models whose original outer box has collateral value (e.g. Bearbrick model items with FIGURE name on the outer box)
For items arriving at the overseas receiving warehouse within 30 days from the first item arrival (including holidays; counted from the day after delivery as Day 1), items past 30 days cannot be consolidated for shipment.
After shipment notification, due to operational reasons, it is not possible to reopen the package, consolidate other items, or change the international shipping method. If cancellation is required, the Japan receiving warehouse will charge a cancellation handling fee of 700 JPY per box plus the outer-box fee. (If the item size exceeds the post office's maximum outer box, it must be switched to air freight or Japan-to-Japan shipping.)
Within the same shipping order, we cannot help ship to different addresses. Please select items for the same address when notifying shipment (the same order cannot be split for separate shipment notifications).
EMCS Air Shipping will deliver items directly to the address you provide, so Malaysia local shipping fees are already included.
If a package shipped to Malaysia fails delivery and is returned (not collected), the cost of returning to Japan will be charged, and only air freight back to Malaysia can be used (additional volumetric and customs declaration fees will apply).
Choosing the "Remove Original Outer Box" service: each item is randomly distributed and packed; all package items are mixed together. Each package requires a declared value, so the contents of each package number are randomly assigned by the system, and the package cannot be reopened or cancelled.
The Japan receiving warehouse does not provide customised services — does not provide additional removal/disposal of items, retention of certain items in the original outer box, packaging adjustments, or other special custom requests.
Method and Cost of Overseas Packaging
The receiving warehouse will choose a suitable carton for you. Single items will not be packaged separately. For carton specifications and fees, please refer to the Outer Box Fees.
The receiving warehouse provides a free unboxing service. Please tick to use this service. Members who use the unboxing service understand and agree: A. The company will follow the member's instructions in full, removing the original outer box and using cartons specified by Japan Post to ship items. B. As long as the quantity of items in the original outer box matches the quantity in the transaction details, they will be packed and sealed. Members understand and agree that the company is not responsible for inspecting items. Except where the company can be proven to have caused malicious damage, members may not claim related compensation.
After packing, the weight of the outer box and packaging materials will be added; please check the estimated outer-box weight in advance.
The added outer box will be cut to a suitable size, and newspaper will be used inside to firmly fill and prevent shifting.
When an item shakes severely in the box and may be damaged, staff will help fix the item with newspaper.
Each packaged item (consolidated within the same box counts as one) will incur a 300 JPY package handling fee from the overseas receiving warehouse.
If the seller's original packaging is in a bag, additional cartons are required to avoid damage from collision, so weight will be added.
Operations and Delivery Time
After shipment notification, receiving-warehouse staff will complete packing within 48 hours (excluding Japan public holidays) and send you the second-payment notification.
Items for which the second payment is completed before 7 a.m. Malaysia time will be shipped on the same day (excluding Japan public holidays).
General Letao air shipping arrives in Malaysia in 10–12 days (counted from when shipped from Japan); you can check the latest tracking status on the post-office website.
status is based on Japan actually receiving the package. (The delivery time shown by the Japan tracking number may differ from actual receipt time in Japan.) Due to operational reasons, packages received the same day cannot be sent the second-payment notification on the same day. Thank you for your understanding.
Overseas Storage Rules
For items exceeding 30 days (including holidays) without shipment notification, a 200 JPY per day per item fee will be charged.
When items at the receiving warehouse exceed 60 days without the second payment completed, Letao will deem the member to have abandoned the right to the item, and Letao bears no custody responsibility. Letao reserves the right to dispose of the item and demand settlement of advanced charges; the member may not raise objections later.
Due to limited space at the Japan consolidation warehouse, please cooperate.
