TOYS McCOY(トイズマッコイ)は、雑誌の表紙や大企業の広告を手掛けるイラストレーターとして活躍後、
1987年からフライトジャケットを手掛け、ミリタリークロージングブランドのパイオニアとして、
日本のフライトジャケットブームの火付け役となった岡本博氏が1996年に設立したアメカジブランドです。
単なるヴィンテージアイテムの復刻ではなく、機能性をも考慮したリアリティのあるアイテムを生み出しています。

そのTOYS McCOY(トイズマッコイ)のユーティリティーカスタムシャツです。

作品名は「UTILITY SHIRT, RIP STOP " WOODY WOODPECKER "」です。

1950-80年代の長きにわたって全米軍に使用されたユーティリティシャツにはいくつもの民生品が存在する。
そのシビリアンタイプのヴィンテージをベースとし、トイズマッコイ独自のテイストを加えた1着。
素材には湿度の高い日本の気候に合わせ、バックサテンではなく、
ミルスペック準拠のリップストップ生地を採用している。

カスタム仕様のデザインに選ばれたのはウォルター・ランツが生み出した
トゥーンキャラクター、ウッディー・ウッドペッカーです。
デザインのインスピレーションは1969年にニューヨーク州サリバンで
開催された伝説のコンサート、ウッドストック・フェスティバルです。

素材は綿100%のリップストップ生地です。
高密度に織られた頑強な生地にリップストップが施され、
ミリタリーらしい無骨な表情ながら、しなやかな着心地も併せ持つ生地です。
リップストップは裂け止めの意味で、生地表面には碁盤の目状に繊維(格子)を縫い込み、
万が一生地が裂けてもそれ以上の進行を防ぐ生地です。

フロントは6つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。
ボタンにはマットな光沢感のあるシンプルな4つ穴の尿素ボタンが使用されています。

両胸には2つボタン付きフラップポケットが設けられています。

袖口はスリーブプラケット付きの1つボタンカフスが採用されています。

主要部分の縫製は、2本針巻き縫いの頑強なつくりです。

フロントに刺繍パッチが施され、バックはプリントでデザインされています。

Send them to service@letao.my and inform us of your desired resolution (failing to provide this may result in an inability to process subsequent matters). After sending the email, notify us in the customer service message. We will confirm with the seller as soon as possible. and if there are any related questions, we will contact you through the customer service message. Thank you for your cooperation."
