【商品説明】

「西の水府散人」と称され、長きにわたり関西水石界を牽引した大数寄者・曾我山人翁の旧蔵石です。
京都の名石「金鞍馬石」のウブ石であり、さらに名工「玄碩」による特製台座、そして山人翁直筆の銘「洗心台」が朱書された共箱が揃う、極めて格調高い伝世の逸品です。

本石の最大の魅力は、一切の手が加わっていない自然のままの「ウブ石」であること。金鞍馬特有の渋みある錆色と風化が、深い侘び寂びの情緒を醸し出しています。天然の川擦れやジャグレという傑出した自然の芸を備えた本石は、加工品が大半を占める鞍馬石中において、極めて希少かつ貴重な存在です。
