寉龍庵小口賢一翁旧蔵石加茂川畚下し石(台座箱付ふごおろしいし) 遠山鑑賞石水石盆石盆山ウブ天然石名石山型のご紹介です。

　昭和後期から平成にかけて、日本盆栽・水石界に多大なる貢献をされた大家寉龍庵（かくりゅうあん）小口賢一翁遺愛の一石です。長年、翁と同郷人として交誼の深かった(一社)日本水石協会会長　故笠原学氏の仲介により、親交深い同協会理事　光公庵川合勝治氏の蔵となり、その後、日本盆栽協同組合前理事長　大島勝氏が長きにわたり愛蔵した一級の賓石です。

　本石は、京都名産加茂川石の中でも、現在は探石不可能と言われている「畚下し石」の名石です。聳え立つ主峰は紅畚下しに属する紫がかった岩肌が峻厳な様相を呈しており、宛ら雲海に浮かぶ霊峰を思わせる神秘的な風景を現出しています。

　翁による長きに渡る養石によって、溢れんばかりの古色感を発揮し、水石界の巨星たちの愛玩が、更に雅格を高めた逸品です。一切人為の無い天然石として、昭和、平成、令和と慧眼の水石大家たちが愛した極上の優石をご紹介いたします。
