前半にリマスター音源、後半にロウな状態の、つまり何ら手を加えていない生の音が収録されている。これまで数多くリリースされてきたのはこの後半部分の音声であり、リマスターといっても、せいぜいこれをイコライズでいじったものしかない、というのが現状であった。本作には資料としての価値を見出しノーイコライズのロウ・バージョンをCDの後半に収録している。音域が狭いモノラルで、音像は粗く、ボーカルが前面に出ており、ベースはほとんど聴こえない。

　そして前半に収録しているのが、これまでと全く異なるウイスキー・フラットである。楽器とボーカルのバランスがよく音域の広がりに余裕がある音で、元音源では皆無だったシンバルの音もしっかり入っている。ポールの踊るようなベースもしっかり収録されている。ジャケットには便宜上リマスターと表記してあるが、後半の元音をどうイコライズしようとこの音にはならない。どういう経緯で流出したのか不明だが、これまでと経路が異なるとしか思えない、全くの別物である。サンプル音源で是非聞き比べてみて欲しい。

　そしてDVDである。DVDの前半は、ウイスキー・フラットの公演地の謎に迫るドキュメンタリー映像が収録されている。アナログ・ブートとして初めて登場した歴史から、コンサートの特徴、映像との同期や文献によるエピソードと照らし、ウイスキー・フラットと呼ばれるコンサートが本当はどこの公演なのかを考察する、マニアの知的好奇心を刺激するドキュメンタリーである。ナレーションは英語だが、日本語字幕も選択出来る。題して「ウイスキー・フラットのミステリー」。コレクター史上初の、本作でしか観る事が出来ない独占オリジナル・ドキュメンタリーである。

　DVDの後半は、初登場ライヴ映像を含む、映像によるコンサート完全再現が収録されている。1964年北米ツアーは、初めてのアメリカ・ツアーという事で、数多くの映像や音源が残されているのはご存知の通りであるが、いずれも音声のない8mm映像であったり、ニュース映像の断片的なものであったりと、後のシェアや日本公演のようにまとまった形でのコンサート映像は存在しない。本作では、全米各地で撮影されたコンサート映像を集め、フル・コンサートを映像で再現した映像が収録されている。全米各地のコンサート映像をウイスキー・フラットの音声に同期させ、今回初登場となるライヴ映像やカラー映像などふんだんに盛り込み、あたかもひとつの完全なコンサート映像を観ているような作品に仕上がっている。
